The UV inks do not dry on the screen, which is why it is cost-effective in long run. The UV screen printing technology is used on smooth surfaces, and the printed graphics are of extremely fine details, as the screen mesh size is very small. The UV curing screen printing finds its applications in Labels of plastic bottles, glass bottles, baby bottles, drinkware, low migration labels, plastic tubes of ABS, PETG, PC, pre-treated PE/PP, pre-treated PET, PS, PVC, rigid and PVC plasticized and automotive part printing. These inks demonstrate High-gloss,high reactivity, excellent curing and adhesion even at high speeds and good solvent and water resistance.

Screen printing uses a fine material/mesh to transfer an image to another material. The mesh is stretched to create a screen and an ink is pressed against the mesh in order to successfully print the image. Actually all pad printing inks can be used for screen printing as well by just adding the retarder instead of Thinner.
