A. Setup planning : Work piece specification, equipment availability, operation variables

B. Fixture planning : Define fixture requirement ,defining clamping points and surfaces

C. Fixture Design Verification: Perform accuracy verification, Tolerances and FMEA

Material Selection

Application of use, Stress-Strain analysis(deformation analysis)

Mode of Machining:

Depending upon the complexity of the fixture selection of CNC machines is done (e.g. DMG MORI those are integrated with SolidCAM and DelCAM

Validation and testing:

For the assurance of accurate profile cutting we have Carl ZEISS CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) which ensure the accuracy of the fixture. Further the fixtures are trial tested with actual parts on the machine. Only after getting approved at this stage, they are finalized
